Mr. Sami S. Alnohait promoted to Deputy Minister within the Ministry of Agriculture, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Mr. Sami S. Alnohait, currently serving as the Vice-President of the World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO), has been promoted to Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Agricultural Development Affairs.   The promotion was approved by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and announced by the Saudi Arabian Cabinet on August 3, 2015.

Prior to this promotion, Mr. Sami Al Nohait had served as the Assistant Deputy Minister for Animal Resources Affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture.  He is known throughout the Arabian horse community for his dedication to the Arabian breed, including his long-time role with the King Abdul Aziz Arabian Horse Center, where he continues to serve as Supervisor General.   Mr. Alnohait remains committed to the growth and development of his country as well as its continued role in the preservation and cultural heritage of the Arabian horse.
